Amazing W.T.C. Photo – And The More Amazing Story Behind It

On April 17, 2002, City Link Magazine, South Florida’s leading News, Arts & Entertainment Weekly, published the story, written by T.M. Shine, of this amazing photograph, taken in October, 2000 by local photographer Michael Joseph. It traces the photo’s creation, its rediscovery following the 9/11 attack less than a year later, it’s odyssey throughout the country as a traveling symbol of hope and a gift of love to the families of  many of the victims, and even the national tour and effort to put the image on a U.S. postage stamp. It’s more than a fascinating read, it’s life-altering, and still pulls you apart after all these years.

You can download a PDF of it here:  WTC Cross Cover Story
